Abstracto
- In 94 weaned heifers 28 Holstein x Cebú (HC), 14 Simmental x Cebú (SC), 40 Romosinuano (R) and 12 Cebú (C ), were assessed age and weight to the puberty (EP; PP); conception rate, in the two first services (TC1) and (TC2); interval parturition-first heat (IP 1Ca) and Interval Part-Conception (IPC). The group HC with 372 days in EP and 283 kg in PP, gets these events with lesser age and weight in relation to the groups which don't have participation in specialized race to milk's production and/or that involve productive aptitude kind meat, like the groups C (713 days and 400 kg) and R (601 days and 315 kg), or group SC (424 days and 320 kg), with a double purpose aptitude, with intermediate behavior; there was not any significant difference between groups SC and R in the PP. The group HC shows the biggest time intervals in postparturition recovery. The group R achieved 95 % in the TC1 and 94.3 % in the TC2, performance that compared to 76.9 % in TC1 and 45.5 % in TC2 for the group SC; 76 % in TC1 and 61.5 in TC2 for the group HC; and 81.8 % in TC1 and 81.8 % in TC2 for the group C, is presented like a racial group with excellent reproductive efficiency.
