Abstracto
- Information from the commercial registers to characterize the evolution of the Colombian agricultural sector on the sectoral and location effects exerted on the profitability of their companies in the period 2014 to 2017 have been used in this work. The results show a good evolution of the agricultural sector. A higher profitability was found depending on the location of the companies than among the different types of agricultural activities. Structural policies and differential trade strategies are necessary to narrow the technological and socioeconomic gap in the disparate territories.
